Absa Bank's Audrey Abakah Commits to Empowering SMEs Through Business Clinics 

Absa Bank Ghana is rolling out a series of financial literacy clinics to equip small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) owners with essential financial management skills to enhance business growth.

The initiative, aimed at deepening financial inclusion, provides SMEs with the knowledge needed to make informed financial decisions, improve cash flow management, and adopt sustainable business practices.

In a news statement issued by the Bank explained that the clinical sessions would bring together experienced business leaders to share insights and recommendations that address common challenges in the SME sector.

It said Absa continues to support small and medium enterprises with convenient financing options such as the SME Loan at 10% per annum.

Mrs Audrey Abakah, Director of SME and Partnerships at Absa Bank Ghana said that the bank is committed to guiding Ghana’s SMEs to become even more resilient and profitable, stressing that the clinics have been crafted to equip SMEs with new skills and resources they can use to address evolving market challenges.

The statement said several SME owners lauded the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful.

It said Absa Bank Ghana has pledged to extend these financial literacy clinics to other regions, from March, ensuring that more SMEs benefit from the programme.

It will feature themes that range from financial planning to digital marketing, all designed to help business owners stay competitive, the statement said.
