Arsenal hosted Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium for the North London derby but despite the best efforts of both teams, the match ended 2-2.
Tottenham Hotspur pressed high in the opening minutes but the Gunners managed to dominate the first period successfully. Arsenal starboy scored the opener with a superb shot that deflected off Cristian Romero to give the Gunners the lead in the 26th minute. However, Son found the equaliser before the break to restart the game. The Gunners created several chances that were denied by goalkeeper Vicario, who performed incredibly well in the first 45 minutes. However, the Italian was unable to stop the first goal created by Bukayo Saka. However, Heung-min Son netted the equaliser in the 42nd minute to restart the game before the break. In the second half, both players again played a key role as Saka doubled his tally by scoring from the penalty spot and the South Korean managed to equalise once more. Both teams share points in hard-fought north London derby as the match ended 2-2.
