Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah hasn’t been afraid to throw her weight around since she led the Berry consortium that completed a takeover of Berry Ladies Football Club in 2019/2020.
Whether that be her splurge of more on an undisclosed amount, her bold ideas for the future of Women’s football in Ghana or the daring decision to change coaching staff just weeks into the second half of the 2022-2023 season, Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah has been a visible presence since she came into Women’s Premier League with Halifax and then converted to Berry Ladies Football Club.
According to a report by Blvck Tick Media and SKB Journal, she is now preparing to raid top players from Premier and division next season.
Berries are reportedly closing in on moves for highly rated forwards, defenders, Goalkeepers and mid-fielders thus with reports suggesting Berry Ladies FC Board and management are preparing to break the bank to sign multiple players.

Martha Appiah, Comfort Yeboah, Elizabeth Ayebea, stoppers that has made 50+ appearances for the club since their move from their various clubs, and are expected to regain their place in the side over the coming weeks and next season
Portia Sakyiwaa, Ernestina Amoateng, Felicity Antwi are also expected to commit once again to the Berry Ladies Fc club next season which report has it that some old players might leave to other clubs next season.
