Ghanaian youngster Ibrahim Osman opened his scoring account for Feyenoord in style, delivering a standout performance in their 5-1 away win against Go Ahead Eagles in the Dutch Eredivisie over the weekend.
Osman, who had gone without a goal in his first four league matches, was directly involved in three of Feyenoord’s five goals on Saturday night. His first strike came after a blistering 15th-minute run down the right flank, where he unleashed a powerful shot that beat the goalkeeper to give his team an early lead.
Just seven minutes later, Antoni Milambo doubled Feyenoord’s advantage. Osman continued to shine, setting up Quinten Timber for Feyenoord’s third goal before halftime.
In the second half, the 19-year-old Ghanaian continued to influence the game, providing another assist, this time for Ayase Ueda to score Feyenoord’s fourth. Julian Carranza added a fifth for the away side, while Oliver Valaker Edvardsen netted a consolation goal for Go Ahead Eagles.
With this performance, Osman now has one goal and two assists in five Eredivisie matches, marking a strong start to his Feyenoord career. His goal also made him only the second-ever Ghanaian to score for the Dutch giants in the Eredivisie, following in the footsteps of the late Christian Gyan.
Osman’s impressive display has further boosted his reputation in Dutch football, and fans will be eager to see more of the talented winger as Feyenoord continues their league campaign.
