Gremio striker Luis Suarez is set to join his former teammate Lionel Messi at MLS side Inter Miami at the end of 2023, according to ‘Marca’.
Messi, Busquets and Jordi Alba will soon be welcoming a new team-mate to Miami. Luis Suarez, their former team-mate at Barcelona, is set to join the MLS side at the end for the year.
Under contract until December 2024 with Gremio, the Uruguayan will be leaving Brazil earlier than expected. His coach Renato Gaucho confirmed this last week. “Luis Suarez will be leaving at the end of this year and will not be staying with us. We will miss him because he is an irreplaceable player.”
According to ‘Marca’ newspaper, there is no longer any doubt that the 36-year-old striker will be joining Inter Miami to re-establish the partnership with his friend Lionel Messi.
Despite his age and physical problems, ‘El Pistolero’ is still in fine form. He has scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists in his last 8 matches for the Brazilian club.
