The Red Devils have decided to ban the player from all first-team duty. The ‘Daily Mirror’ reported that he has been exiled from the facilities where his team-mates are based, including the team dining room.
Sancho is training and eating with the academy players, cites the above source. The requirement for his return is that he apologises to Ten Hag for repeated disrespect, including repeatedly arriving late for training or claiming, in a post he deleted, that he had become a “scapegoat”.
The dressing room starts to support him
The ‘Daily Mirror’ also claimed that there are already some players who have taken a stand in favour of Sancho in his ‘war’ with Ten Hag. Team-mates are calling on him to step back and apologise.
Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw have “begged him to swallow his pride and apologise to Ten Hag“, says a source close to the players. “They want him to apologise, they sympathise with him and how he feels, but they recognise that he crossed a line with what he published.
