The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is celebrating a major victory as its campaign song “Kwen Kwen” by renowned musician Nacee has topped Apple Music Ghana. The song became the anthem of the party’s campaign, inspiring Ghanaians as the 2024 presidential election results unfold.

The party’s candidate and former President, John Mahama has been declared winner of the presidential election with over 56% of the total valid vote cast.

The atmosphere at the NDC headquarters in Accra and different parts of the country has been euphoric, with supporters celebrating this historic win, attributed to the campaign’s grassroots mobilization and the motivational impact of “Kwen Kwen.” Mahama himself praised Nacee for his creativity and ability to capture the essence of the party’s message.

For many weeks to come, pundits expects the song to continue to enjoy airplay and become the preferred song at many social events, especially the events of the NDC.
