Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is edging ever closer to leaving Napoli in the January transfer window after a controversial Tiktok video was posted on social media by the Italian club.
As a result, the board are already looking at possible alternatives to replace the team’s star player. The 24-year-old played a prominent role in Napoli’s success last season as he scored 26 goals in domestic competition to help his team lift the Serie A trophy.
Napoli don’t want just any striker to take his place and, for this reason, they are considering signing Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus, according to ‘Calciomercarto’.
The Brazilian striker suffered several injuries in his first season with the Gunners but still netted 11 goals in 26 competitive Premier League matches. The Serie A club are also interested in both Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata and Lille forward Jonathan David.
