Neymar denies having asked for Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus' sacking

Al Hilal star Neymar denied a report that the Brazilian player had called for the sacking of his coach Jorge Jesus.

Neymar is not having a relaxing start in Saudi Arabia. He has barely played three games for Al Hilal and has already had to come out and deny the first rumours.

The Brazilian said he has not called for Jorge Jesus’ sacking after the draw against Navbahor of Uzbekistan in the AFC Champions League.

“Lies. You have to stop believing these things, pages like this. With millions of followers you can’t keep publishing fake news! With all the respect in the world, I ask you to stop this, it’s disrespectful,” Neymar posted on Instagram.

While Al Hilal played in the last 32 of the Saudi Champions Cup on Monday, Neymar was absent for his side’s 1-0 win over Al Jabalain.
