Barcelona want to keep Joao Felix permanently. After just a month and a half at the club, he has been enough to convince the club to consider signing him next summer.

According to ‘Sport’, mentioning sources at Barcelona, the club is “very happy with his performance and he is a player who is very much liked in all areas of the club“.

Barcelona are already planning different options to sign Joao Felix next summer. It is worth remembering that the Portuguese arrived on loan from Atletico Madrid.

Joao Felix has a contract with Atletico Madrid until 2029. Diego Simeone does not want him in the team, but getting him out will not be easy or cheap, as he cost the ‘rojiblanco’ side 127 million euros.

Barcelona will have to negotiate with Atletico Madrid a price reduction if they want to keep a player who has gone from being paid 400,000 to 4 million euros in just a few weeks, according to La Liga’s Financial Fair Play rules.
