According to ‘The Sun’ and per what SKB JOURNAL – SPORTS have gathered, Mason Greenwood is considering staying with LaLiga side Getafe and part ways with Manchester United. The 22-year-old has managed to rebuild his professional career in Spain.
Mason Greenwood was signed by Getafe on loan from Manchester United in the summer transfer window to rebuild his professional career after being accused of sexual abuse.
The 22-year-old was investigated by his club and decided to try his luck in LaLiga to continue playing after being out of action for a year.
The English striker is not doing badly at the Madrid outfit, having scored one goal and provided one assist in five competitive games this campaign. As a result, according to ‘The Sun’, Greenwood is considering staying in Spain.
The same media outlet reports that the striker has felt loved and welcomed by the Getafe fans after feeling that his career as a footballer was over. He could ask the Spanish side to negotiate with the Red Devils for a permanent transfer.
